Teachers Who Teach Beyond the Classroom: Bringing Road Safety Education to Schools
Share
A teacher does more than teach lessons from a textbook. A teacher shapes habits, builds awareness, and prepares children for the responsibilities they will carry into the real world.
On Teacher’s Day, we celebrate the educators who help shape tomorrow. And one of the most important lessons we can give the next generation is one that can quite literally save a life: road safety.
Road Safety Education Is a Life Skill, Not Just a Traffic Rule
ParaSafe × GoSharpener
ParaSafe, in collaboration with GoSharpener, is already taking road safety education to schools across Delhi NCR, helping students understand road safety through engaging and age-appropriate learning.
The initiative focuses on helping students:
- Understand traffic rules and road signs
- Practise safe road-crossing habits
- Recognise everyday road hazards & traffic signs
- Learn how helmets, seat belts, Belt Buddy, child car seats, booster seats, and other road-safety equipment help keep them protected on the road
- Become responsible pedestrians, cyclists, and passengers
The Impact Goes Beyond the Classroom
A road-safety lesson taught at school can travel home with a child, influencing siblings, parents, and the wider community.
Because when we teach children to be safer road users today, we help create a safer tomorrow
This Teacher's Day, we celebrate the teachers who go beyond textbooks and teach lessons that can truly make a difference.
